Oroville Youth Soccer Club is announcing its Opening Day Ceremonies at Riverbend's Soccer Complex on Saturday, September 11 beginning promptly at 8:30 a.m. A program celebrating this unique community partnership will be held along with a parade of 600 players in age categories including Under 6 through Under 19. The day will begin with a special program and thanks to all community agencies, organizations and individuals who were instrumental in funding three soccer fields built at Riverbend Park. The day also includes a day of soccer games on the new fields, a banner contest judged by community leaders, music and food. There is no charge for the community to attend this memorable day. Over 600 players participate in Oroville Youth Soccer-making it the largest sport in the area.
