OYSC Referees Openings and Returning Referrees Refresher!
  • No previous referee experience is necessary.
  • Player experience is helpful but not required.
  • Training is provided by the club free of charge.
OYSC referees are independent contractors, paid per game, pay varies by position and age group. All games will be played on Oroville fields, most at Riverbend Park Soccer Fields. Referees are responsible for their own transport arrangements. 2011 playing season runs from September 10 to one week before Thanksgiving.




New referee training:  August 19 - 21

Training location:
South Feather Water & Power Board Room,
2310  Oro-Quincy Hwy,  Oroville, CA 95965
Training hours are:
Friday 19,  6pm to 10pm
Saturday 20,  8am to 5pm
Sunday 21,  8am to 3pm
Attendance to all three sessions is required.

At the end of the training there will be a test.
Upon passing the test you will be registered
as a USSF grade 8 referee.  Registration fee is $40.00 for one year. New referees need
to purchase referee uniform, flags etc available from several web sites.
Returning referee refresher:

This is mandatory training to all currently licensed referees to participate in 2011 fall games.There will be a test at the end of training.If have 2011 badge there is no cost to you. If your badge is not current (2011),
renewal fee is $40.00.
